These Worm People, are abstract figure with no faces. their arms and legs can wrap around anything, and for any length. I use color and line to create emotional status and intensity, as well as movement, in each piece. The object is to create an emotion within the viewer. I don't necessarily care if they feel what I am feeling as I create. The satisfaction for me is the creative process. The Worm People some out of what I am feeling, and the working through and finishing of a piece is a way for me to work through whatever it is I am feeling. I do hope the viewer "gets it," but as long as they feel something, I am happy.
The Worm People have evolved over time. They started as pencil drawing and have grown into large scale relief prints.
